Breezes Rio Bueno might reopen if SuperClubs is successful in buying the property. 

The resort property in Jamaica is owned by the National Insurance Fund (NIF) of Jamaica.  In the past, SuperClubs paid the NIF $200,000 per month to rent the property and operate it as Grand Lido Braco and then later as Breezes Rio Bueno.

Breezes Rio Bueno, near Runaway Bay Jamaica, will be closed as of April 30th, 2011.  The resort was formerly known as the Grand Lido Braco and was very popular with tourists who enjoyed the Jamaican Village design of the resort.

The reason given for the closing of the resort is a dispute between SuperClubs (the parent company of Breezes) and the owners of the property.  Negotiations had gone on for awhile, but a new lease could not be settled upon.
