Luxury Cruise Lines Go All Inclusive

Crystal Cruises has announced they will offer all inclusive pricing starting in the spring of 2012.  The move allows them to compete with other luxury cruise lines who already offer all inclusive pricing.  Companies such as SeaDream Yacht Club, Seabourn and Silversea have been offering all inclusive rates for years.

Sandals Emerald Bay Expanding

The new Sandals Emerald Bay is expanding.  Another 66 rooms will be added to bring the total to 249 rooms.  The oocupancy rate has hovered around 80% this year which is really good for a new resort in a tough economic climate.

Starwood Offers All Inclusive Packages At Mexico Locations Of Sheraton, Westin & La Meridien Resorts

Starwood resorts is now offering all inclusive vacation packages at some of their resorts in Mexico.  The Westin, Sheraton and La Meridien resorts in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos are participating in the program.

The Paradisus Playa Conchal resort will become the all inclusive Westin Playa Conchal Resort on May 11th, 2011.

Why No All Inclusive Resorts In Las Vegas?

Why are there no all inclusive resorts in Las Vegas?  People who go to warm vacation destinations in the winter love going to all inclusive resorts.  Since Las Vegas is a warm vacation desitnation, doesn't it make sense that an all inclusive resort would make sense in Las Vegas?

Breezes Rio Bueno Might Close April 30, 2011

Breezes Rio Bueno, near Runaway Bay Jamaica, will be closed as of April 30th, 2011.  The resort was formerly known as the Grand Lido Braco and was very popular with tourists who enjoyed the Jamaican Village design of the resort.

 

The reason given for the closing of the resort is a dispute between SuperClubs (the parent company of Breezes) and the owners of the property.  Negotiations had gone on for awhile, but a new lease could not be settled upon.
