Pretty Good Deal :: Now Onyx Punta Cana

The Now Onyx Punta Cana will open in November, 2013.

 

They are having a sale for $99 per night.

 

I try to find stuff like this because you can find pretty good pre-sales.

 

I really like the family of Zoetry, Secrets, Dreams, Le Blanc and Now resorts.  The problem is they are on the expensive side because they are really nice.

Frugal Traveler Gets It Wrong On Review Sites

The Frugal Traveler from the New York Times is not a fan of review sites.

 

A recent article admits many of the great things about review sites, but ends with the idea that we should ignore review sites in favor of asking locals when we arrive at our destinations.

 

That is simply wrong.

 

I still ask locals when I get there, but I'm not about to abandon review sites.

Are there all inclusive resorts in Belize?

 

I'm going there for a wedding and was surprised at how difficult it was to find an all inclusive resort option in Belize.

 

If anyone knows of a good resort, please let me know.

All Inclusive Family Cruise Options

I have been looking into family all inclusive resort options for a family vacation next winter. I have found a few good options, but I saw an ad for an all inclusive cruise and that caught my interest.



The problem is that the all inclusive cruise was only for adults.



Does anyone know if there are all inclusive cruise options for families?

Traveling To All Inclusive Resorts With Kids

 

Can someone tell me wonderful things about taking kids to an all inclusive resort?

 

I have a two year old and a four year old.

 

My wife wants us to find a last minute vacation, but I just keep thinking about the logistics of the kids.

 

Actually, it is mainly the airports and planes I worry about and maybe a little about sleeping arrangements.

Have You Been To Barbados?

I'm still looking for a destination for a family vacation. I have a three and a five year old so that is the major factor in my trip planning. I just read that Barbados is the most developed country in the Caribbean. Is this true? Have you been there? What is it like? I like the idea of a well developed transportation, sanitation and medical system. Sounds like there are nice beaches and tourist areas on the southwest side of the island. I'm thinking maybe there will be discounts at the new…See More

"Not sure however, you will never receive the service thet you get in the Palace resorts, Palace isn100% customer service directed and no one does it better!"

" Do they still have the FDR resorts in Jamaica?  I think one of them might have closed, but they have a "vacation nanny" program where staff members spend a lot of time with the kids while you get to relax."
