Royal Plantation Review:

This is a high end resort with a steep nightly rate. Make your reservation with the "Royal Plan" in order to get all inclusive meals and services. The staff and food is great. The wine selection is one of the best in the Caribbean.

The resort was built in the 1950's and the rooms show some of this age. All of the rooms are suites with ocean views. You get to choose your pillow from a pillow menu.

The beach and pools are a little small especially if the resort is near full capacity.

Considering the nightly rate, it is odd that there are additional charges for the wireless internet service. It also is odd that the snacks in the room are added to your bill if eaten even though the mini fridge drinks are free and room service is included in the Royal Plan.

Le Papillion - Gourmet seafood & steak restaurant. Open 7 pm-10 pm except on Mondays. Reservations required. Dress code: Resort evening attire (Jackets appropriate but not required).
Royal Café - Beach grill and cafe. Open daily from 11:30 am - 4:30 pm. Dress code: Cover up required (men in shirts and ladies in a wrap or shorts).
C Bar - Caspian Caviar Lounge. Located in Le Papillion. Open nightly from 6:00 pm. Dress code: Resort elegant.
Royal Beach Butler Service - This royal service brings full food and beverage service right to the guest's beach chair.
