Resort: Couples Tower Isle
Location: Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Couples Tower Isle Review:
This all inclusive resort for adults has always been a great
resort, but the recent $30 million dollar renovation has made this
resort absolutely fabulous. This is not a mega resort with in your
face entertainment teams and toga parties. This is a mid-sized all
inclusive resort with a laid back and romantic setting.
The staff is the highlight of the resort as they go out of their
way to make sure you are having a good time. The food is delicious
with numerous restaurants to choose from. The only downside is that
room service is only for a continental breakfast. Have coffee and
pastries delivered when you wake up and then hit the full breakfast
buffet later in the morning.
Make sure you take advantage of the snorkeling, scuba diving,
catamaran cruise, and trips to the clothing optional island early
in the week if the weather is good. If the winds pick up, these
activities will be restricted.
If you have any problems with your room, let the front desk know
about it as soon as you arrive. Your issue will be resolved as soon
as posible if it is something that can be fixed. The front desk
does a great job of letting you move to a different room if you are
not satisfied.
One negative at this resort is the lack of nightlife after 10 pm.
The bars are still open, but there is no nightclub or entertainment
options. The other main negative is the small beach area. It is a
nice beach, but people used to expansive beaches in tropical
destinations will be disappointed.
