Resort: Cancun Palace
Location: Cancun, Mexico
Cancun Palace Review:
A large all inclusive resort for singles, couples, and families.
Palace resorts are higher end resorts with nice rooms and
facilities.
There is a big difference between the front (sea) and back (lagoon)
sides of this resort. An upgrade is worth it to avoid the lagoon
side.
The beach was recently redone with loads of fine white sand, but it
washes away from the waves every few months. Make sure you read
current reviews to find out the status of the beach.
The best part of this resort is the friendly staff. The second best
feature is that you get exchange privileges with the other Palace
resorts in the area. This greatly expands your food, bar, and beach
options.
The worst part about this resort is the timeshare offers you get
upon arrival. Make sure you do some research in advance to
determine if you are interested in their timeshares. If not, the
trips and other gifts offered in exchange for your time are not
worth going through the hard sell presentation.
