What Is The Best Caribbean Island For All Inclusive Resort Vacations?

What is the best Caribbean island for all inclusive resort vacations?

I have been to Mexico a few times. I want to try an all inclusive resort on one of the Caribbean islands.

I'm looking for really good beaches that are not too crowded.

Good snorkeling would be a plus.

I have no need for casinos or shopping areas.

Any suggestions for a favorite Caribbean island? Thanks.

We'll, personally, I like the Sandals resorts on St. Lucia and Antigua.

I also love Negril, Jamaica because it is a laid back area with great sunsets.

I'm also a big fan of Negril. The sunsets are beautiful!

Not exactly a small island with quiet beaches, but the Dominican Republic (especially Punta Cana) has a really nice streatch of beach (Bavaro beach) along with a wide selection of all inclusive resorts. The resorts always seem to be a little less expensive compared to some of the other islands in the Caribbean.

Thanks for the responses. I looked into a lot of islands and decided I want to try one of the smaller ones instead of trying Jamaica or the Dominican Republic. Right now, I am leaning toward either Antigua or St. Lucia, but I'm still open to suggestions.

St. Lucia is one of my favorite islands. I've only stayed at the Sandals, but I have heard good things about all of the all inclusives on the island. It is hard to go wrong with such a scenic destination. There is some good snorkeling in various places around the island.

Never been to Antigua, but hopefully some day.

I like the idea of going to the Sandals on St. Lucia. I'm not sure which one I would stay at, but I am leaning toward the Sandals Regency. I like that I would be able to visit the other ones during the days to check them out. I like that it is a small island with some interesting elevated peaks, lush terrain, and good beaches. Sounds like what I have been dreaming about (stranded on a beautiful Caribbean island, but with all inclusive services, food and drink, and an airport to allow me to leave at the end of the stay : )

A few more looks at Antigua and Aruba and then I'll make a decision.

Thanks again for your responses.

Sandals Regency or Sandals Antigua would be good choices.

Whatever you do, don't stay at the Grand Pineapple Antigua resort.
