All Inclusive Blog

I'm looking for a good all inclusive resort in Mexico.

It will be a romantic getaway for me and my man. I have been to Jamaica, Aruba, and the Bahamas and think it is time I made a visit to Mexico.

I'm open to all destinations and all resort companies. I don't mind staying at a more luxurious resort if the extra price translates into a higher level of service and ammenities.

I mainly just want to relax so I don't need to be near day trips or scuba diving or shopping districts. Just a good Mexico all inclusive where I can relax and enjoy some romantic time with my man.

I've been thinking about Cancun, but I worry that it has very little "mexico" in it. It also might be a little too busy for me. As far as I know, the resorts are side by side to each other. I like the idea of being on a beach where I could take a quiet romantic walk without seeing too many people.

If anyone knows where I can find good deals on Mexico all inclusives, I would be extremely grateful. Hopefully there will be some good deals since people are still freaked out about the swine flu scare. I figure there are lots of swine flu cases in my own state so going to Mexico and taking the usual precautions of hand washing and avoiding sick people.

Hopefully, I will find something and will be enjoying a Mexico all inclusive vacation fairly soon.

Hi Lea

If you don't mind considering luxury all inclusive resorts, I have a couple of suggestions for you In Mexico.

First, the Zoetry all inclusive resort on the Riviera Maya (south of Cancun) is a small romantic resort. There are only 90 luxury suites at the resort. There is a nice long private beach where you can take walks as you describe. It has won many awards and is run by the same company that operates the Secrets and Dreams Resorts. If you can swing the price, this is a great resort for what you are describing. Fly into the Cancun airport and then you will have a 20 minute drive/shuttle heading south along the Caribbean coast.

If you continue to think about Cancun, you should know that you are right in thinking that the resorts are right next to each other. However, there is an all inclusive resort where no children are allowed and with very high ratings called Le Blanc Spa Resort. This is the place you will want to stay if you go to Cancun.

Otherwise, try to find a resort for adults so your romatic vacation won't be spoiled by children splashing in the pool or throwing food during your romantic dinners. Any of the Secrets all inclusive resorts in Mexico would probably be a good place for your stated needs.

Thanks Paul

The Zoetry resort look really good. Much more my style compared to the busier Cancun options. Now I just need to find out how to get the best price on a Zoetry vacation package. If I can't swing the higher fees for Zoetry, I might consider one of the Secrets resorts. Fun doing the research. Getting excited.

I would suggest working with Palacesinthesun.com. They specialize in all inclusive Mexican vacations at Palace Resorts and they have pretty good prices. I know Palace Resorts is highly respected. We've stayed at both Moon Palace which is not in downtown proper which has three sections - the newest being Moon Grand. That is where we will be staying this Spring. We've also stayed at the Cancun Palace. They are more on the strip, but they have an excellent selection of restaurants. Sun Palace is adults only and is on the farthest edge of the strip. One thing I like about Palace Resorts is that you aren't limited to one. You can stay at one and visit them all - use their facilities or restaurants. I think we might ferry over to Cozumel and snorkel. You can do it right off Cozumel Palace's shoreline. They are also able to provide a stay at le blanc. This is the place to stay for WOW. It's new and each floor has their own butler and they also have pool side butlers. Anyway give them a try.

I don't have any personal experience with Palace all inclusive resorts, but I have heard good things about them and will try to visit one of them soon. I like resorts where you get to visit the other properties. I like having more choices and the ability to see more resorts for the same price.
