Last Minute All Inclusive Vacation Deals

What is the best way to find last minute all inclusive vacation deals?

Is it better to wait for the last minute or should I try to book a resort in advance?

Will I be able to find last minute deals from the resort companies and travel agencies or will I have to use a last minute travel service like Hotwire where I won't know exactly what resort I will stay at when I book my vacation?

Is it possible that I will find a great deal on a last minute all inclusive resort, but will have to pay a huge amount for my airline ticket? Hopefully I will find a deal that will include the airfare.

I think now is a great time to to go to an all inclusive resort in Mexico, but I just want to make sure I get the best deal possible.

Are there certain destinations or resorts that are known for offering last minute deals?

Thanks for any help anyone could offer.

Hi Paul,

I happened to see your post. I'm a Palace Resorts Premier member and they are offering a referral program to me right now. I can basically offer you a week at several of their different resorts at my memebership cost with all my membership perks (free transport to/from airport, free massage, manicure,, and pedicure per person, 20% off spa, two free tours, VIP check-in etc). You can choose any week from August 23rd thru Dec 20th this year so long as there is availability in the resort you choose. It's at my membership cost - no extra fees whatsoever. Airfare is separate. I get member perks from them if I refer two people this year and they let me refer to guest with all my memeber advantages at my cost so it is really a win-win. I have researched all the travel sites and the Palace Resorts website and the savings are really great. One resort, the Beach Palace, has saving about $1,000 below the listed price on Priceline, Expedia etc and the other resort I can offer on the referral program have savings of roughly $700. Plus as i mentioned, you get the extras my member benefits offer. Shoot me an email if your interested. The other resorts I can offer are The Sun Palace (adults only on the quiet side of the Cancun hotel strip), Adventura Cove Resort (family side of Adventura), Adventura Spa Resort (Adultsd only side), and Isla Mujeres Palace (island resort off of Cancun). The Sun Palace is rated the #3 resort on the Trip Advisor website and has rave reviews. I'm staying there next year for sure. Anyway, let me know if you are interested and I'd be happy to speak with you on the telephone about it if you'd like to.

thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug

How do you become a Premier member at Palace Resorts. Do you have to stay with them a certain amount of times or is it a special fee you have to pay? The membership perks look nice.

Hi Lea,

In my case, I signed up on one of my trips to Mexico. I was offered a free day pass and some spa credits for listening to their presentation and I excepted. The cost of the membership isn't cheap for sure, but I looked at it like I was prepaying for vacations. It is sort of like a timeshare, but different as you can travel any dates you want, get steep discounts on future trips, and can go to any one of their resorts included in the plan. Plus, as you mentioend, they treat their members really well. Besides all the free stuff they through in and special attention they give you, you always get the best rooms and views available over the public, and they continue to offer incentives to their members only, such as this offer I can extend. The referral program that I can offer is a great way to test drive it for yourself too. You are basically a member for that week and you can see if it's for you or not.
Hope this helps and if you're interested in the promo, let me know.

Doug

Hello Doug,

I am planning a vacation to PV in Feb. A friend of mine has a timeshare in Cancun and suggested I rent a timeshare from someone. Are you able to rent out a timeshare with all inclusive privileges at the Palace in PV?

Thanks,

Heather

Hi Heather,

Have you tried Priceline.com? I used it for our last all inclusive in Cancun. We are actually getting ready to go again. The heck w/ this snow! :o) I also used it for my parents to book their 40th Anniversary trip to Hawaii. On another note, if you are interested in a cruise, let me know. I work for cruisingagents.com. http://www.cruisingagents.com/jminor/index.php

I had never been on the Hotwire site before so I decided to check it out. I can't say I was too pleased with my experience. I searched for the phrase "Hotwire last minute all inclusive resort deals" and clicked into the Hotwire site. I landed on a page that claimed to be about all inclusive resorts. However, the page just had a bunch of descriptions about potential destinations. I was interested in Mexico, but realized there was nothing I could click to get more information or to see a list of all inclusive resorts and prices. I tried using the search and reservation box in the right column, but it just gave the options of hotel, airfare, and car rentals. I couldn't search for all inclusive resorts and I couldn't find the destinations I wanted.

Very frustrating.

I finally clicked on the Hotwire logo and made it to the front page. I found a list of all inclusive deals (and some looked really good), but do I really want to book a vacation with a company and website that made me so frustrated?

I've used Hotwire before for hotel reservations, but I have never booked an all inclusive resort through them before. Makes sense that the all inclusive resorts want to fill their rooms so there should be some good deals at the last minute.

Are there other sites like Hotwire that list last minute all inclusive resort vacation packages?

I talked to someone who has booked last minute all inclusive resorts through Hotwire. So far, the person has had two good experiences and one bad experience. The prices have all been god, but you never know what resort you will be sent to so it is a risk.

I've used Hotwire before and have been put in some really nice hotels for reduced rates. Never tried it with all inclusive resorts though.

Hi there Paul,

I recommend Priceline.com when booking an all-inclusive. Also, I am not sure if you are aware or not, but Allegiant Airlines (fly out of Lexington, KY) have super cheap rates to FL. The catch is that they only fly on certain days, and only to Orlando, Daytona, and Tampa/Clearwater. I used them on my Bachelorette trip. We only paid around $60 there and back after taxes. Also, if you know anyone booking a cruise, send them my way. While booking a cruise for my Bachelorrette, I was hired on by the company I was booking through. I am always up for saving money! I work from home, so I have ample time to research EVERY cruise company and find the best rate. Unfortunately, that is all I can book. SO, if you ever need a cruise, or just have questions, or research, look me up. AND, if you want an all-inclusive, (which I highly recommend) priceline, is the best! My husband and I are looking right now for a all-inclusive. Cancun is the cheapest way to go at the present. Well, I hope found a great vacation seeing how you posted this back in August! My website is: http://www.cruisingagents.com/jminor/index.php
