Is Golf Included At Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana?

I'm wondering if golf is included at Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana.

I know guests have "access" to the two Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses in the area, but I'm not sure if this means the greens fees are included or extra.

The company that owns Secrets (AMResorts) also owns the Golden Bear Lodge And Spa Cap Cana which is the resort home for the two Jack Nicklaus golf courses. This makes me think the golf would be included.

However, these are some of the nicest golf courses in the Caribbean. This makes me think that everyone who plays them will pay a hefty greens fee.

To tell the truth, I'm having a hard time figuring out if the Golden Bear Lodge And Spa Cap Cana and the Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana even have all inclusive plans available. I know that Secrets does, but it is not spelled out with what is included. I also hear there is the option to stay at these resorts without an all inclusive plan.

This is causing me confusion.

If anyone has stayed at the Cap Cana resorts or played these golf courses, any information would be appreciated.

If you stay at the Golden Bear Lodge, you get two rounds included as long as you stay at least three nights. At Secrets, the golf is not included, but they have a golf concierge service that helps you get tee times and discounted greens fees.

Secrets Sanctuary is an all inclsuive resort with all meals and drinks included. The resort used to have a pay as you go plan before it was bought and changed into a Secrets all inclusive resort.

Punta Espada Golf Course is the first of three Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses in Cap Cana. This is the course that hosts PGA tour events and is ranked as one of the best golf courses in the Caribbean.

Las Iguanas is the second Jack Nicklaus course in Cap Cana. It has three scenic holes that go along the water with the rest going further inland. The third golf course is being built.

Cap Cana is undergoing a huge process of development. There is a nice marina and a few luxury resorts already built. There is a 10 - 15 year development plan for the area.

I even found a scorecard for Punta Espada:

Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana looks great. It is $500 - $900 per night for two people depending on the room category. I didn't find much pricing information for Golden Bear Lodge.
