I'm thinking about buying a day pass at an all inclusive resort the next time I go on a vacation.

Each resort seems to have different pricing so I will look for a good price with the most inclusions. I will use the day pass to experience the all inclusive lifestyle for a day to decide if I would ever want to stay at that resort on the next trip.

Also, I've become pretty good at finding good cheap hotel rooms. Paying a low price for a basic hotel room combined with a day pass at an all inclusive might end up being a better price.

Plus, I don't need to binge on food and alcohol for seven days. However, I might want to binge on food and alcohol on the 2nd and fifth day of my vacation.

The other days, I would enjoy trying some of the local restaurants and bars in the area. This would make my vacation very flexible with all inclusive options being bought according to my desires and moods. Plus, I could try multiple resorts within the same vacation.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of paying for all inclusive day passes. Unless, of course I find a great deal that makes the all inclusive option a no brainer with no need to leave the resort.

Has anyone ever bought a day pass at an all inclusive resort?

Did you enjoy your day and feel the cost was worth it?

I think some all inclusive resorts also sell evening/night passes. This might be a better option because most of us spend all day laying on the beach, but going to an all inclusive resort at night would include a nice dinner, some drinks at a few different bars within the resort, entertainment, and a late night dip in the hot tub.

I like the idea of picking and choosing the days when I will want to have an all inclusive food and drink plan. I also like the idea of going to a destination and spending days at numerous all inclusive resorts to try different restaurants, etc...
